伊拉克首都巴格達一個什葉派穆斯林社區的檢查站3日遭遇自殺式炸彈攻擊，造成至少24人死亡、61人受傷。遜尼派恐怖聖戰組織伊斯蘭國（IS）宣稱此事是他們所為。
巴格達作戰指揮部發言人馬安（Saad Maan）說，3名自殺炸彈客在卡迪米亞區阿丹廣場的檢查站企圖強行闖關，檢查站的安全部隊隨即與他們交火，當場擊斃1人，另2人則引爆炸彈。
攻擊事件發生在當地時間3日傍晚5時30分，阿丹廣場是通往什葉派卡迪米亞神殿的要道。每到周六神殿都會吸引大批人潮。
1名警官表示，其中1起爆炸是攻擊者引爆汽車自殺炸彈。他說，至少有24人喪生和61人受傷。此一傷亡數字獲得卡迪米亞醫院消息人士和內政部官員證實。
美國SITE情報集團表示，IS分支「伊斯蘭國巴格達省」透過推特推文稱，2名自殺炸彈客在卡迪米亞人群聚集的地方先後引爆綁在身上的炸彈腰帶。
阿丹廣場經常成為攻擊目標，今年2月也曾發生自殺炸彈攻擊，造成20多人喪命。
